1. Sitecore OrderCloud
Sitecore OrderCloud🡕 is a MACH certified next-gen B2B, B2C, and B2B2X ecommerce platform exposed entirely via a RESTful API. It enables rapid development of custom, secure, and scalable eCommerce solutions. Allows user to spin up a fully functional B2B app in minutes and customize it to the limits of your imagination.
The Sitecore OrderCloud Certification Exam🡕 assesses your understanding of Sitecore OrderCloud development. To become certified, you must pass a 30-question multiple-choice exam (scoring 80% or higher) that covers the competencies listed below. The exam is designed to be straightforward and covers fundamental concepts of OrderCloud Architecture🡕.
2. Exam competencies
Certified Sitecore OrderCloud developers will be expected to have fundamental knowledge, skills, and abilities in 7 distinct areas regarding Sitecore OrderCloud development.
- Competency 1: OrderCloud Architecture and Conventions
- Competency 2: Integration
- Competency 3: User Management and Access Control
- Competency 4: Environments
- Competency 5: Product Management
- Competency 6: Order and Fulfillment Management
- Competency 7: Troubleshooting
3. Prerequisites
While there are no specific prerequisites that you must meet to take the certification exam, Sitecore recommends that you have prior experience with a Sitecore OrderCloud sandbox available on the OrderCloud portal🡕
4. Exam process and structure
The Sitecore OrderCloud Certification Exam is comprised of 30 multiple-choice questions that cover the fundamental knowledge about the administration of and development for the platform. You must correctly answer 80% of the multiple-choice questions to pass the exam and earn a certificate.
- The multiple-choice questions will test you on all of the Sitecore OrderCloud competencies.
- You will have 60 minutes to complete the test.
- Your exam session will be proctored.
- No notes or additional resources are permitted during the exam session.
5. Getting started
- Enroll for the Study guide on the Sitecore learning portal🡕
- Get familiarize with OrderCloud Basics🡕 i.e architecture , conventions & building blocks.
- Then logon to OrderCloud portal🡕 using SSO.
- Create Your First Marketplace🡕 on the sandbox environment.
- Use API Console🡕 to play around difference end points to create & establish relationships between multiple entities.

7. Purchasing Exam
You must purchase your exam and register for an exam appointment with Kryterion Webassessor🡕 . The exam will cost you $350 USD. Thanks to Sitecore partners program for 70% discount and my employer DEPT for the encouragement & opportunity to upskill.
- Exams are proctored through Webassessor
- It is a closed book exam consists of 30 multiple choice questions
- You will need to score at least 80% to pass.
